Rental Motorbikes
To discover Mallorca on a motorbike is an entire new experience. It offers you an interesting point of view. Colours, smells, meteorology, adventure and freedom combine perfectly with each other when driving a small, medium or big motorbike.
In Mallorca, people are very fond of motorbikes. An important number of specialised companies rent them out for days or weeks. For two passengers and for relatively short distances, the best option is a motorbike or a scooter with a cubic capacity equal or higher than 125 cc, that is to say, a motorbike that is not too heavy in relation to its low power output. Do not forget that if you rent a scooter under 50 cc, you won’t be able to use any motorway or any dual carriageway. Doing so is against the law.
Remember that the helmet is mandatory when driving both big and small motorbikes and that the speed limits are there to be respected.
The entire secondary road network in Mallorca is perfect for motorbike trips almost all year long, but especially between April and October/November.
Motorbikes are economical, secure and comfortable, since they are very easy to park anywhere you like. They are perfect to go to the beach, to make a romantic trip or simply to enjoy the island and its charms. The only disadvantage they have is that you become the bodywork and therefore, if you want to go out at night, it is better to walk or take a bus/taxi.
