How to move around

public transport

The most habitual way to move around the island is by private or rental car, but also by public transport. If you prefer the latter, you will find all the information you need on the Transports of the Balearic Islands (TIB) website.

The public transport network links all town, villages, beaches and tourist areas in Mallorca. In Palma, the intermodal station centralises all services.

Moreover, a regular bus service links the airport with Palma, from where you can take a bus to anywhere on the island.

From Plaça d'Espanya in Palma you can also take the train to Inca, in the middle of the island, and to Manacor. All trains stop at all intermediate stations.

In Palma, you can use the regular public bus service of the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) and the Underground.
