Beaches

The beaches and coves in Mallorca have become worldwide famous due to the beauty of their landscape, the crystalline cleanliness of their waters, the unequalled quality of their sand, but also due to the quality of their services, the security they offer, the environmental care and the rigorous cleaning they are subjected to.
The island has 208 beaches, 158 of which are sand beaches. Many of them have been awarded with the FEE’s Blue Flag certification. We have beaches that are perfect for families and to practice water sports, but we also have nudist beaches. In most beaches you can go topless without any problems. Many also have disabled access.
The coast consists of a series of almost never-ending beaches and coves. You can choose where to swim: from a singular and isolated place on the Tramuntana coast, to the beaches of Artà, the area of Es Migjorn or a typical sand beach with all the services you need, such as the beaches in the areas of Pollença, Alcúdia, Platges de Muro, Can Picafort, Capdepera, Cala Millor, Ses Covetes, Es Trenc, Platja de Palma, Palmanova, Magaluf, Santa Ponça, Peguera, etc.
Most beaches give you the opportunity to practice water sports and rent sailboard, catamarans, kayaks and water skies. For those willing to take scuba diving lessons, equipment can be rented on the island. In addition, for those who prefer water slides to snorkel breathers, Mallorca has a wide variety of water parks to offer.
