Private Boat
People who love the sea, sailing and nautical tourism know pretty well that Mallorca is a perfect enclave in the Mediterranean. A wide range of yacht clubs, marinas, and leisure harbours where you can moor your boat, as well as a long list of additional nautical services, turn the island into a privileged place where you can put in sporadically, hibernate and also sail placidly along the coast.
Getting to Mallorca or Palma by your private boat or by a rental charter boat, either from the Peninsula or from any other Mediterranean port, has become a usual habit among the Spanish and European mariners.
Once you get to the port and you have properly secured and moored your boat, you can choose between sleeping and eating on board or having a break in a hotel or aparthotel nearby, where a refreshing warm shower, clean sheets and a delicious lunch will bring you an overdose of energy that will help you carry on with your journey in a better spirit.
At night, you will find a wide variety of restaurants where you can try the local gastronomy. And if you want to go out, there is an endless selection of bars, discos and nightclubs.
For your information, the Balearic Islands also have a water sports resorts network, a Yacht Club Association, an Association of Marinas and Nautical Installations (ANADE) and a Mariners’ Association (ADN). Any of them may be useful at some point.
