Shows

Music shows start with the arrival of warm weather

In June you have the chance to go to big concerts that take place on the island, both in Palma and in the rest of the town and villages. In Palma you have the Auditorium, a hall with a great resonance. In the city you can also find the Teatre Principal, where you can enjoy music shows and plays.

Every weekend you can go to Son Marroig, in the municipality of Deià, where a classical music series is held, being the introduction of other important festivals that take place in Mallorca in summer.

Some of the most famous events include the classical music festivals in Valldemossa, Deià, Port de Sóller and Port de Pollença, as well as the Jazz Voyeur (the music group Black Jack is performing on the first week in June) and Sa Pobla Jazz Festival. Apart from the before mentioned events, on the island there are also other concerts (such as those held at Palma Arena) that take place all year long.

At the beginning of June, Cala d’Or will host the 15th International Jazz Festival at the Rocador hotel. In the city of Palma, Palma’s Municipal Music Orchestra has organised street concerts during the spring-summer season (19:00 pm – Free Admission). You can check the venues in the newspapers.
