The Torrent is a torrent of Pareis located in one of the most "savage" of the Serra de Tramuntana. It is a canyon of 3,300 meters in length, with vertical walls of 200 meters. It starts at S'Entreforc point where the confluence of the Torrente Lluc or sandals and the torrent of Gorg Blau. The area was declared Natural Monument by the Govern de les Illes Balears in 2003

It is emblematic of the fate-adventure trips in the mountains of Mallorca. The start of the tour we found Escorca front of restaurant at km 25.200 of the C-710 (now MA-10), just over six miles Lluc. At this point begins the downhill approach to the torrent of Pareis, leaving on our right, the Church - Oratorio de San Pedro.

The route of the trip, steep and difficult, forced to walk 4 to 5 hours, but may invest up to 8 hours to make if you are not practiced in hiking. The decline presents some technical difficulties in their journey, accompanied by a considerable physical effort.

Hike is rated as difficult and you have to have an experienced guide. Its special geographical and climatic conditions in this area, virtually uninhabited during the colder months, make it an ideal place for flora with over 300 species represented, of which about 30 are endemic to the Balearic Islands.
