Exhibitions

As well as a great number of galleries and exhibition halls, Palma and the island of Mallorca in general also have singular cultural bastions.
Casal Solleric, Caixa Forum at the Gran Hotel, Juan March Foundation, Barceló Foundation, Bartomeu March Palace, Es Baluard Museum and Joan Miró Museum are some of the most important museums, foundations and exhibition halls in Palma.
The Juan March Foundation in Palma has a collection of 20th century Spanish works of art created by the most significant avant-garde artists (Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Juan Gris or Salvador Dalí), as well as by different mid century movements and more recent generations.
The Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Palma is a unique place. It is one of the few museums that offer the possibility of contemplating the creativity atmosphere of a universal artist through the visit to the studio where Miró worked from 1956 until his death in 1983. Not to be missed.
The Barceló Foundation is a non-profit organisation created in 1989 by the Barceló family. Its main goal is to develop projects that contribute to the improvement of the society as a whole. Artistic and cultural events take place at its social headquarters located in Carrer Sant Jaume in Palma.
The Casal Solleric is an exhibition centre owned by Palma City Council. It is located in Palma and is considered the most recent palace built by the Mallorcan nobility.
Es Baluard Contemporary Art Museum in Palma is located within the perimeter of the Sant Pere bastion, part of the Renaissance wall that surrounded the city of Palma until the beginning of the 20th Century
