S'Illot / Cala Moreia

S'Illot is one of the holiday resorts on the east coast of Mallorca, which became active in the 60s due to the tourist boom on the island. It is an emblematic spot that stands out for its singular beauty and its historical heritage. Apart from the tourist, leisure and accommodation options, this area also has important archaeological sites, such as the remains of a Talaiotic settlement with big blocks of stone that used to be part of wall and which until today constitute the vestige of this important megalithic culture.
The hotels in S’Illot are strategically located on the coast near the seaside promenade that stretches along the coast and links the two beaches of turquoise waters that you can find in this area, which are coloured by the green of the natural reserve of Punta de n’Amer.
The beach of S’Illot, also known as Cala Moreia, has a length of 350 metres and a width of 35 metres. In summer it is very busy. On the east end there is a small esplanade, which is used as a pier, while on the other end there is the mouth of the Torrent de n’Amer ravine.
Moreover, in the vicinity of Cala Moreia, the rocky coast is very picturesque and singularly beautiful.
The hotels in S’Illot are perfectly equipped with a wide variety of bars and restaurants, and its beaches have lifeguards, as well as sun loungers, paddle boats and sun loungers to hire.
S’Illot and Cala Moreia have 9 hotels and have an accommodation capacity of 2400 people.
