La Reserva natural Park Puig de Galatzó
La Reserva Puig de Galatzó is a natural park unique in Mallorca. It has over 2.5 millions of square metres and is located 17 km from Palma. To get there you have to pass through Puigpunyent and follow the signs from the village.
It has lush vegetation within a surrounding of heavenly contrasts where a great variety of animals of a singular beauty coexist.
This park is the perfect place to go hiking. Its 3.5 km hike along its comfortable paths offers you the opportunity to discover 30 waterfalls before reaching the leisure area, where you can enjoy the bar and BBQ services, as well as the swings and the “Refreshing Mountain” swimming pool facilities.
Puig de Galatzó is the first mountain higher that 1000 metres and is located towards the south of Serra de Tramuntana. The fact that it is isolated from the rest of the range turns this mountain into a privileged viewpoint over the Bay of Palma and the surrounding mountains.
In this park the most daring visitors are welcome to feel the thrill of an adventure park with climbing walls, suspension bridges and a series of amazing zip lines.
La Reserva is open every day from 10:00 am to 19:00 pm.
