Fixed Markets

Markets have an important role in the daily life of our towns and villages. They have historically been the agora and the centre around which the activity revolved. Some Mallorcan markets are also a spectacle and constitute a tourist appeal both for their gastronomic and aesthetic peculiarities, as well as for the architecture, the atmosphere, the friendly people, the bars and the inner stalls, etc.
You cannot leave Palma without visiting at least one of its three most important markets: El Olivar, Santa Catalina or Pedro Garau.
Inca, Sóller and Manacor and the main towns and villages in Mallorca have their own fixed markets, which are usually open from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 14:30 pm.
