Bicycle Touring in Mallorca
The 90 thousand cyclists that come to Mallorca every year between March and May always talk about the potential that this island has in terms of cycling. Most of them stay on the island for about a week between March and June.
Cyclists are in love with Mallorca, since almost all of them repeat the experience year after year. They usually come in groups of 25. Organisations take care of everything, including the transportation of bicycles.
The main group is Max Hürzeler, an organisation that accommodates cyclist groups in 15 hotels concentrated in 3 or 4 different regions.
The specialised hotels are well equipped and meet all technical, physical and maintenance requirements.

Mallorca is perfect for bicycle touring. It has a road network of 1250 kilometres, 675 of which are local tracks and secondary roads with an average width of 6.50 meters. Moreover, 20% of this road network is located in the mountain. The regional roads, with many beautiful cycling routes, bring you closer to the interior villages, where the most authentic culture and the local gastronomy meet.
